The Royal Palace in Phnom Penh, Cambodia is a complex of buildings which are the royal abode of the Kingdom of Cambodia. The palace was started in 1886 after King Norodom relocating the royal capital from Oudong to Phnom Penh. The establishment of the Royal Palace is a comparatively recent event in the history of the Khmer and Cambodia.
